Develop maintenance leadership skills at Penske in Boucherville, Quebec, through six rotations, daytime training, and hands-on shop operations experience.
Penske’s Maintenance Manager Trainee assignment lasts eighteen months and prepares candidates for Maintenance Supervisor or related growth opportunities. The program combines rigorous on-the-job training with people management, process improvement, inventory control, customer experience, safety, rental, and financial responsibilities. Candidates must communicate effectively, stay organized, influence others, and work comfortably within matrixed reporting relationships. The final rotation is a one-year shop assignment with people management responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend and implement process changes improving shop operations
- Train, coach, and mentor associates during rotations
- Manage PartsNet inventory, tires, parts, and vendor relationships
- Schedule customer maintenance and address service concerns
- Review metrics, assignments, safety, and repair costs
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Technical degree
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Strong communication, organization, and influencing skills
- Ability to relocate and travel as necessary
- Computer skills and adaptable learning ability
