Make a difference in the community as a Program Coordinator with Carefor, Eastern Ontario's largest home care provider. You will coordinate engaging programs and activities to support clients and caregivers effectively.
Reporting directly to the Centre Leader, this position emphasizes developing diverse wellness programs while ensuring a vibrant environment for clients. Candidates will bring at least three years of experience in program coordination, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and client databases. You will be instrumental in creating meaningful connections in the community and enhancing support services.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement diversified wellness programs
• Prepare newsletters, posters, and social media content
• Foster community partnerships and resource utilization
• Organize supplies and resources for programs
• Maintain accurate client and volunteer files
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in program coordination
• Food Handlers Certificate and First Aid/CPR are assets
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
