As an Operations Manager, you will maintain and secure gallery spaces while coordinating all operational services. Your expertise in managing exhibitions, rentals, and studio programs will be essential. This hands-on position involves working closely with a variety of stakeholders, enhancing the gallery’s community-focused mission.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily gallery operations, maintenance, and safety
• Coordinate facility use, scheduling, and contractor services
• Support exhibition preparations and artwork handling
• Manage studio supplies and classroom program schedules
• Collaborate with diverse teams to keep programs on track
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in arts administration or related fields
• At least 3 years of operations management experience
• Experience with event and exhibition coordination
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Hands-on capability for lifting and installation tasks Utilize your operational expertise to support the cultural initiatives at The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in Brandon.
