Ideal candidates are passionate ophthalmic surgeons with an Ontario license and recent certification from the Royal College. Your work will include both outpatient care and surgical procedures aimed at improving eye health for all ages. Contributing to a patient-focused environment, you will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team and utilize advanced diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide regional on-call surgical services for LHIN 12
• Offer comprehensive outpatient consultations and care
• Perform cataract surgery and other ophthalmic procedures
• Conduct advanced eye care treatments and diagnostics
• Interface with hospital resources for specialized cases
Requirements:
• Fellowship in Ophthalmology, recognized by RCPSC
• Excellent communication and compassionate care approach
• Eligibility for credentialed staff membership at GBGH
• Active membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
• Dedication to establishing roots in the Midland community Shape the future of eye care at Georgian Bay General Hospital and create meaningful patient connections.
