Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Intern

Build analytical chemistry experience with Cyclic Materials as a 12-month Laboratory Intern in Kingston, Ontario. Support sample analysis and hydrometallurgical testing.

This internship supports commercial operations, research and development, and hydrometallurgical process development. You will work under experienced laboratory professionals while preparing samples, collecting data, maintaining documentation, and supporting laboratory equipment. The opportunity suits students or recent graduates in analytical chemistry, chemistry, metallurgy, chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze samples from operations and experiments
• Operate laboratory instruments under established procedures
• Support leaching, precipitation, filtration, and solvent extraction testing
• Maintain equipment through cleaning and calibration checks
• Organize analytical data, records, summaries, and technical reports

Requirements:

• Current enrollment or recent graduation in a relevant program
• Laboratory coursework or academic laboratory experience
• Basic analytical chemistry, titration, and sample preparation knowledge
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Basic data analysis and Microsoft Excel skills
