Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment and support vehicles.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, powertrain, engine, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Support unscheduled repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and fellow technicians.

Qualifications

  • Registered 3rd or 4th Year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice.
  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documentation.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing:

  • Nitrogen pumping units
  • Nitrogen conversion units
  • Coiled tubing support equipment
  • Pressure pumping equipment
  • Oilfield service rigs and rig support equipment
  • Diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls
  • Heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and ancillary oilfield equipment
