Job Summary
Build a rewarding career in Iqaluit, Nunavut, as an Early Childhood Educator supporting young children through structured learning, exploration and meaningful daily interactions.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced educator who can guide children’s development while supporting staff and maintaining a safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare individualized learning plans
- Design developmentally appropriate programs
- Monitor children’s progress and behaviour
- Communicate with parents and caregivers
- Guide and support classroom staff
Requirements
- Early childhood education diploma or certificate
- ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of childcare regulations
- Experience supporting diverse learning needs
- Permanent full-time position
