Lead after school programs at PLASP Child Care Services in Etobicoke, ON as an Assistant Director. Support children’s development through engaging activities while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
At PLASP, the Assistant Director plays a crucial role in managing after school programming. This position requires collaboration with staff to plan and implement effective activities that enhance children's physical and emotional well-being following CCEYA and PLASP guidelines. You will also support food ordering and preparation, as well as oversee administrative duties in the absence of the Program Director.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a caring and safe environment for children
• Facilitate planning and implementation of stimulating activities
• Manage food ordering and preparation for nutritious snacks
• Handle program administration during the Director's absence
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Education standards
Requirements:
• Registered ECE, OCT, or CYW diploma required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in child care
• Knowledge of CCEYA and licensing requirements
• Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR Level C
