Join Sun West School Division in Davidson, SK, as a Temporary Educational Assistant. Support students with intensive needs by attending to their physical and cognitive requirements every school day.
This position at Davidson School is for a full-time Educational Assistant for 6.5 hours daily, starting as soon as possible through June 25, 2026. You will collaborate closely with classroom teachers and professionals to implement educational programs tailored for individuals with cognitive or physical limitations. Ideal candidates will have a calm demeanor and be physically able to assist students effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with personal care, lifting, and transferring students
• Work one-on-one with students requiring specialized support
• Support teachers in delivering educational programs
• Collaborate with professionals in a team atmosphere
• Maintain a calm and supportive environment for all students
Requirements:
• Experience with individuals with cognitive or physical limitations
• Ability to lift and assist students as needed
• Relevant post-secondary education preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills for rapport building
