Draftsperson II in Burnaby Water Services

Become a vital part of Metro Vancouver's Water Services team as a Draftsperson II. This full-time role focuses on creating engineering drawings for crucial water and sewage systems. As an intermediate CAD/BIM professional at Metro Vancouver, you will contribute significantly to engineering projects. You'll prepare base plans, topographical maps, and 'as built' drawings while using software like AutoCAD and Revit. Your expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) drawings will be essential for our water, sewage, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare engineering drawings for water and drainage systems
• Develop topographical maps and electrical drawings
• Create 'as built' sets for completed projects
• Conduct basic technical calculations for drawings
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams

Requirements:
• Grade XII completion with post-secondary training in drafting
• Experience in municipal drafting or related work
