Cosma International offers this fixed-term apprenticeship within its automotive manufacturing operations. You will support equipment, process, and facility work while following Ministry of Skills and Development training requirements. The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, uptime, and repeatability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify machinery and facilities
- Evaluate downtime causes and suggest process improvements
- Support preventative maintenance and equipment design improvements
- Exchange key information during shift changes
- Maintain clean, orderly work areas and job sites
Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Completed Level 2 Tool and Die Maker program
- Qualified college program completion from a reputable institution
- Ability to work shifts and flexible hours
- Registration as a 430A apprentice upon successful selection
Develop Tool and Die skills through supervised maintenance, process improvement, and automotive manufacturing experience with Magna’s Cosma group.
