We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping & Receiving associate to work in Brantford.
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4pm-1am. **Training will be on the day shift
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Shipping & Receiving team.
- Assign dock doors and prioritize workloads to maintain a smooth, bottleneck-free flow of trailers and ocean freight containers.
- Monitor shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate handling of freight.
- Provide hands-on training, coaching, and mentorship to new warehouse employees and equipment operators.
- Act as the primary point of contact on the warehouse floor to address loading delays, pallet quality concerns, and staging discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience operating or overseeing the operation of warehouse equipment.
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
