This permanent part-time position supports retail operations at The Salvation Army Thrift Store. You will greet customers, process donations, complete transactions, and maintain organized merchandise. The work requires customer service experience, cash register knowledge, attention to detail, and physical capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact positively with customers and donors
- Complete accurate cash and debit transactions
- Sort, price, hang, pack, and store donations
- Replenish sales-floor inventory and support displays
- Maintain safe, clean, organized store areas
Requirements:
- Completion of some high school coursework
- A few months of customer service or goods-processing experience
- Required cash-handling and cash-register experience
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
