As a Mainframe Functional QA, you will leverage 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience to ensure the robustness of mainframe applications. Your role involves developing and executing test plans, performing integration and regression testing, and validating complex system components.
Key responsibilities
include thorough analysis of job logs and supporting cross-functional collaboration to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain test plans and test scripts
• Execute functional and regression tests for mainframe systems
• Analyze job logs and resolve errors proactively
• Validate data integrity across DB2 and Oracle datasets
• Document QA artifacts and ensure compliance with standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering with 3+ in mainframe testing
• Strong skills in JCL, COBOL, and batch execution
• Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation
• Familiarity with JIRA and QA processes
