Become a vital part of Westlake as a Logistics and Purchasing Associate, dedicated to optimizing procurement and operations. This role primarily supports the Windows Department.
As a key member of the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for ordering essential supplies, managing inventory, and facilitating communication with suppliers. A minimum of 3 years in a Distribution or Logistics role is required to succeed in this dynamic position.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and verify vendor purchase orders efficiently
• Support branches in managing and expediting orders
• Coordinate freight and dispatch logistics effectively
• Liaise with departments for month-end reporting
• Maintain reporting systems and cost templates
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; college education preferred
• 3+ years of relevant Logistics experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Make an impact in procurement and logistics with Westlake, enhancing operational efficiency every day.
