DZ Propane/Fuel Truck Driver

OVERVIEW & PURPOSE STATEMENT

Lucknow District Co-operative Inc. has an opening for a DZ Energy Driver based out of Lucknow, ON. This is a full-time position with benefits. Under the direction of the Energy Manager, the Energy Driver employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of propane and fuel to our customers.

PAY RANGE

$27-31/hour

Main Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to safely operate single or tandem axle trucks, multi-axle configuration trucks for delivery and/or pick-up of energy and/or agronomy products and other equipment as required.
• Upholds the highest standards of safety in the delivery of propane or fuels to end use containers while providing exceptional customer service.

Education & Experience

• Requires a High School education or the equivalent thereof.
• Must have and maintain a valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driver’s abstract & minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider without restrictions or surcharge.

The Lucknow District Co-operative Inc. is located on Huron County Road #1, south of Lucknow, was established in 1944 and is owned by more than 1,800 local people. The co-operative provides customers of Huron and Bruce Counties with livestock feed, agronomy products and services, consumer goods, including hardware and clothing, petroleum and propane products and services.
