Build and test software solutions for Fujitsu in Montreal, applying web development, database, and programming knowledge onsite.
This Junior Software Developer contributes across projects involving user interaction, coding, and testing. The work includes implementing solutions, maintaining program code, documenting technical information, and following software development practices. Knowledge of web, desktop, mobile, and cloud development is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test software from technical specifications
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing applications
- Maintain structured program and issue-tracking documentation
- Support knowledge transfer and technical writing
- Recommend improvements that reduce costs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering
- No previous software development work experience required
- Knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL databases
- Experience with WebSockets, WebAPI, desktop, mobile, and cloud development
- Knowledge of Azure, GCP, AWS, Git, and Azure DevOps
