Lead global revenue accounting from Canada, applying IFRS expertise and financial reporting leadership in a full-time remote setting.
This senior leadership position oversees revenue operations and compliance with IFRS, especially IFRS 15. You will lead and develop the revenue accounting team while managing complex recognition matters. The work supports financial decisions, accurate reporting, controls, and AI-powered accounting efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee global revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and policies
- Lead, mentor, and develop the revenue accounting team
- Manage percentage-of-completion accounting and project reviews
- Review contracts, disclosures, reconciliations, and technical memoranda
- Partner with finance teams, business leaders, and auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and recognized CPA designation
- Progressive technical accounting and revenue recognition experience
- Strong IFRS 15 and complex arrangements knowledge
- Experience managing teams and documenting accounting conclusions
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and financial reporting systems
