Lead LTL terminal operations at Central Transport through dock oversight, employee leadership, and technology-focused performance management. Work an average of 50 hours weekly with shift flexibility.
As Senior Terminal Manager, you will oversee freight loading, unloading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight sortation. You will lead drivers and dock workers while supporting safe, efficient service across Central Transport’s network. The role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee loading, unloading, forklift traffic, and freight sortation
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff
- Lead drivers and dock workers with accountability
- Monitor dock production against facility KPI goals
- Maintain DOT and OSHA compliant workplace safety
Requirements:
- Prior LTL management experience strongly preferred
- Ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees
- Strong written, listening, and verbal communication skills
- High aptitude for technology and attention to detail
- Willingness to work 50 hours weekly and varying shifts
