Lead civil aviation training portfolios through roadmap execution, courseware development, and regulatory compliance at CAE. Manage programs end to end across global stakeholders.
This Portfolio Manager owns assigned Civil Aviation Training segments and their product lifecycles. The position combines instructional design, product ownership, backlog management, and project planning. You will balance scope, quality, resources, and timelines while supporting technically accurate, instructionally effective training products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute portfolio roadmaps, manage backlogs, and oversee training program lifecycles
- Contribute to instructional design and technically accurate courseware development
- Plan projects, monitor timelines, and balance delivery trade-offs
- Coordinate teams, consultants, suppliers, and external vendors
- Develop pilots, go-live plans, instructor enablement, and release activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, aviation, or related discipline
- Five to eight years of relevant professional experience
- Three to five years designing and developing courseware hands-on
- Experience with product ownership, backlogs, and multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
