Lead syndicated financing at BDC through senior debt analysis, credit structuring, and relationship development in a hybrid work model. Support Canadian entrepreneurs through complex lending transactions.
As Director, Syndicated Financing, Wholesale Finance, you will grow BDC’s syndicated financing portfolio. The work spans cash flow lending, asset-based lending, financial due diligence, and risk assessment. You will support profitability and risk management objectives while serving businesses across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate syndicated financing opportunities across diversified industry sectors
- Structure senior debt and asset-based lending transactions
- Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and credit assessments
- Manage syndicated financing portfolios and monitor emerging risks
- Build relationships with banks, lawyers, advisors, and referral partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, accounting, or related discipline
- Minimum five years in corporate lending or syndicated financing
- Experience structuring senior debt and complex financing transactions
- Knowledge of Canadian GAAP and IFRS
- English and French bilingualism, spoken and written
