Apply industrial maintenance and troubleshooting expertise as an experienced Industrial Mechanic Millwright with AFIMAC Canada in Southwest Ontario. Assignments involve on-site electrical machinery and equipment.
This Industrial Mechanic Millwright assignment requires installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment. You will perform inspections, repairs, mechanical installations, and equipment adjustments. The work includes 10 to 12-hour shifts for four to six days weekly when assigned to a project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Read mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and specifications
- Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, piping, and compressed air systems
- Rig, align, level, and adjust machinery and equipment
- Complete maintenance records and scheduled work orders
Requirements:
- Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic certificate of qualification
- Minimum one year millwright experience in manufacturing
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
