Responsibilities:
- Operate DZ (manual transmission & Automatic) as assigned
- Transport materials utilizing most efficient routes.
- Ensure safety and security of cargo.
- Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers.
- Accurate completion of driver logbook.
- Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip).
- Customer-focused and pro-active problem-solving approach
- Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of Roll-off and Lugger experience
- Pup trailer experience considered an asset
- Valid Class A License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement is preferred
- Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with no demerit points and/or reported incidents.
- Completion of required training: Health & Safety, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods
- Experience with 13 and/or 18 speed manual transmission.
- Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal and written) with a positive attitude.
- Working at heights may be required and training will be provided.
- Confident decision making within skills and abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. *Our fleet of roll-off trucks are no older than year 2020 and are all automatic transmission with automatic tarping systems.*

s: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
