Security Guard (Full time and Part time) Pay Rate: $17.50 to $18.00 per hour Shift Hours: 1700hrs to 0700hrs or 0000hrs to 0700hrs Work
Location:
Various sites across Calgary Car Required: *A personal vehicle is mandatory for this position
* Job Overview: We are seeking reliable and professional Security Guards to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. The ideal candidate is attentive, responsible, and committed to delivering exceptional security services. Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols to maintain order and ensure site safety
- Monitor and control access for vehicles and individuals entering the property
- Identify, assess, and report any suspicious activities or security concerns
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances
- Assist staff or members of the public when required
- Complete detailed daily reports, including patrol logs and incident documentation
- Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of security experience (required)
- Knowledge of security protocols, public safety, and legal guidelines
- Experience in report writing and incident documentation
- Intense observation and situational awareness skills

Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard License (Required)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR Certification (Required)
- A reliable personal vehicle (mandatory)
- Ability to work night shifts on a fixed rotation
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
