Owner Operator Courier/ Delivery Driver

Atripco Delivery Service is looking for reliable, motivated Owner Operator Courier/Delivery Drivers to join our Calgary team. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS. Weekdays are optional. If you enjoy being on the road, meeting customers, staying busy, and having the flexibility of working independently, this could be a great opportunity for you. Drivers use their own car, SUV, or mini-van to complete deliveries throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

- Your own car, SUV, or mini-van
- Valid driver's licence
- Valid vehicle registration
- Valid insurance as required
- Active WCB coverage and clearance
- Driver's Abstract less than 4 months old
- Ability to pass a background check, if requested (less than 6 months old)
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30 lbs
- Smartphone capable of running our driver application
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering products to customers throughout Calgary and surrounding areas
- Providing courteous, friendly and professional customer service
- Safely transporting packages and products
- Communicating with dispatch, warehouse staff and customers
- Using our driver app to manage deliveries
- Completing deliveries and obtaining photo Proof of Delivery (POD) in real time
- Resolving delivery issues promptly and professionally
- Working independently while maintaining excellent delivery standards The Ideal Driver We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys driving and being on the road
- Is reliable, punctual and organized
- Works well independently
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Is comfortable using a smartphone and delivery app
- Can manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Enjoys staying busy and working in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in representing Atripco professionally Previous courier, delivery, food delivery, logistics or customer service experience is an asset, but full training is provided. Important: Independent Contractor Position This is an independent contractor / Owner Operator opportunity. Drivers are responsible for providing and maintaining their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, WCB coverage and other operating expenses associated with their business.
