Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting the appropriate skates.
- Provide information about rental procedures, pricing, and skate sizes.
- Equipment Management:
- Maintain and inspect rental skates and safety gear for quality and safety.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of equipment between rentals.
- Inventory Control:
- Track and manage skate inventory, including sizes and types available for rental.
- Report any damages or issues with equipment to management.
- Safety Compliance:
- Educate customers on safety protocols and proper use of equipment.
- Monitor the rental area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Cash Handling:
- Process rental transactions and handle cash and credit payments.
- Maintain accurate records of rentals and returns.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Interest in skating and knowledge of equipment is a plus. Work Environment: This position typically involves working in a bustling recreational setting, often outdoors or in a rink environment, and may require standing for extended periods. Flexibility in scheduling is often necessary.
Job Type
s: Part-time, Seasonal Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
