- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and organizing for daily menu items
- Assist with cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely meal preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety standards
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation to prevent waste and contamination
- Follow recipes and portion controls accurately to maintain consistency in meal quality
- Participate in inventory checks and assist with restocking supplies as needed Qualifications
- Prior food handling or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with restaurant operations or catering operations and kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
