Role Description The Concrete and Coatings role is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, AB. The person in this role will prepare work sites, mix and pour concrete, assist with forming, leveling, finishing, and curing foundations, slabs, and flatwork. Daily tasks include applying concrete coatings and sealants, performing surface preparation such as grinding and cleaning, and helping with decorative finishes where required. The role also involves assisting with concrete repairs and restoration, operating basic tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized job site. Collaboration with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards is expected. Qualifications
• Experience with concrete placement and finishing, including foundations, slabs, and flatwork.
• Skills in surface preparation, concrete coatings, sealants, and decorative finishes (e.g., stamped, stained, polished concrete).
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools commonly used in concrete and coatings work.
• Knowledge of construction site safety practices and willingness to follow company safety protocols.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working in varied weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in concrete construction or coatings is preferred; relevant trade certifications are an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Calgary, AB.
