Overview We are recruiting a Junior Magazine Editor for AI projects. You will shape features and shorter pieces for a defined publication audience, balancing article quality, tone, issue mix, and factual accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete short features, departments, and assigned article checks from approved submissions, sources, and issue briefs.
- Edit openings, structure, pacing, and conclusions for reader interest.
- Balance tone and subject coverage across assigned issue content.
- Flag article or issue gaps that need commissioning decisions.
- Revise assigned edited magazine features and issue notes after documented feedback. Requirements
- Professional-level English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Ability to shape feature content for a defined publication audience.
- Ability to apply supplied guidance to short features, departments, and assigned article checks and flag unclear details.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable home-working setup.
- Previous coursework, portfolio work, or junior magazine editing, journalism, or publishing experience is preferred.
