About The Role
We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to make AI smarter — and we need physicists to help get it there. As a Physics Subject Matter Expert, you'll use your advanced knowledge to challenge, evaluate, and improve how AI systems reason through complex physics problems. Your expertise directly shapes the quality of cutting-edge AI models used by millions. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your own schedule, from anywhere.

What You'll Do
• Design rigorous physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert-level reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and solution quality
• Identify weaknesses in AI reasoning and provide structured, actionable feedback
• Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics
• Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments Who You Are
• Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field
• Strong problem-solving skills across multiple advanced physics domains
• Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented with a rigorous, analytical mindset
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• No prior AI experience required Nice to Have
• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research
• Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts
