Role: Support Executive

- Onsite Contract Role Job Summary: Strong knowledge of Dynatrace, Advanced Java concepts, application monitoring, and incident management.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide L2/L3 application support for Java-based applications.
• Monitor application performance and availability using Dynatrace.
• Analyze application logs, errors, and performance metrics to identify root causes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Use Advanced Java concepts to understand and troubleshoot application-level problems.
• Monitor system health, response times, database connectivity, and application performance.
• Perform incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Participate in production deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in on-call/shift support when required. Required Skills
• Strong experience in Application/Production Support.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace for application monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Core and Advanced Java concepts.
• Understanding of Java application architecture, JVM, memory management, threads, and exception handling.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting.
• Experience analyzing application and server logs.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, and integrations.
• Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills. Good to Have
• Experience with Spring/Spring Boot applications.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or other monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps processes.
• ITIL certification or experience with ITIL-based support processes.
