Key Responsibilities
• Assist with the management of tort and personal injury files from intake through resolution
• Track important deadlines and maintain accurate, organized case records
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, memoranda, mediation materials, and pre-trial documents
• Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, insurance adjusters, and other parties
• Communicate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address questions or concerns
• Assist with document production and the organization of litigation materials
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical files in accordance with firm procedures
• Assist with scheduling, calendars, and other administrative tasks as required
• Scan, organize, and properly store documents within the appropriate files
• Perform other duties related to the position as assigned Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years of experience working with tort or personal injury matters
• Completion of an accredited Law Clerk or Paralegal program
• Strong understanding of personal injury and tort litigation
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files and prioritize competing deadlines
• Professional and effective interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Clio is considered an asset
What We Offer

Salary:
$45,000–$55,000 per year, based on experience
• Health benefits
• Full-time, permanent employment
• On-site position in Toronto
