ORCAFY is hiring a full-time videographer to join our team and capture content for our clients. Most of our on-location shoots are for restaurants, cafés, and hospitality businesses, alongside clients in retail, real estate, automotive, and professional services. We’re looking for someone who can understand a creative brief, arrive prepared, capture the required footage, and deliver an organized handoff to our team. What you’ll do Prepare for each shoot
• Review the client’s brief, content ideas, references, and shot list beforehand.
• Understand the shoot’s goals and what footage the team needs.
• Clarify any questions with the team before arriving.
• Prepare the equipment needed for the shoot. Capture content on location
• Drive to client locations and arrive on time, ready to shoot.
• Capture footage suited to social media, including vertical video for Reels and other short-form content.
• Follow the brief while identifying opportunities for additional creative shots.
• Communicate professionally with clients and help people feel comfortable on camera.
• Manage your time to cover the planned shot list and flag anything that cannot be completed. Organize and hand off footage
• Organize and clearly label footage by client, shoot date, and content idea.
• Upload all footage to the designated Google Drive folders and confirm the upload is complete.
• Send the team a post-shoot email covering:
• How the shoot went.
• What was filmed and completed.
• What was missed or could not be completed, and why.
• Any client feedback, issues, or follow-up needed.
• A link to the uploaded footage. Must-haves
• A valid driver’s licence and your own car. This is required for the position.
• Availability for a full-time position with ORCAFY.
• Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, and shoots outside regular

working hours

• A portfolio demonstrating your videography skills.
• Strong camera, composition, lighting, and audio skills.
• The ability to understand a brief and work independently on location.
• Strong organization, time management, and written communication skills.
• A reliable, professional approach to working with clients and the ORCAFY team. Nice-to-haves
• Experience filming restaurants, food, drinks, and hospitality content.
• Experience creating content for a variety of businesses.
• Your own camera, lighting, and audio equipment. Personal equipment is a plus; agency equipment can also be used.
