( Foundational) Business Software Sales Affiliate Independent Business Development & Affiliate Team-Building Opportunity Bickert Management Inc. (BMI) is developing an affiliate program through which independent people can earn income by introducing businesses to BMI’s software, consulting, implementation, and related services. We are initially looking for one or more entrepreneurial, sales-oriented people who want more than a conventional referral arrangement. These foundational affiliates will personally test the opportunity, develop their own methods for generating and converting business, and help BMI create a stronger and increasingly turnkey program for the affiliates who follow. This is a strictly commission-based independent opportunity. There is no salary, guaranteed income, required schedule, or exclusive territory. Compensation will be earned from qualifying revenue generated for BMI—not merely from leads, appointments, or sales activity. Learn more about BMI here: https://www.bickertmanagement.com/bmi-candidates The opportunity You will have the opportunity to build a business within BMI’s business. BMI already has an inventory of products and services, an implementation team, marketing resources, technical capabilities, accounting support, and an established sales process. Your role is to concentrate on the market-facing work: developing relationships, influencing prospective clients, identifying genuine opportunities, and moving those opportunities through the sales process. Initially, you would be expected to learn by doing. You would personally:
• Identify and develop prospective clients.
• Determine whether they are genuinely in the market for business software, setup, customization, or implementation services.
• Conduct initial Free Planning and Pricing Sessions using BMI’s tools and guidance.
• Ask structured business-level questions without needing to act as a technical expert.
• Capture the information BMI’s internal team needs to evaluate and advance an opportunity.
• Develop effective methods for follow-up and conversion.
• Share what you learn about the messaging, tools, materials, and processes that produce better results. You would not be expected to build all the supporting infrastructure yourself. When a promising approach requires better marketing materials, technical tools, training resources, administrative support, or a more refined process, BMI’s internal teams can help bring those ideas to fruition. Over time, the objective is to create a more turnkey system so that you—and eventually other affiliates—can focus primarily on relationships, lead development, presentations, and conversion while BMI handles fulfillment and supporting administration. Building your own affiliate team For the right person, the longer-term opportunity extends beyond personal commissions. A foundational affiliate may eventually recruit and mentor additional independent affiliates. Each affiliate would have a direct agreement with BMI, while BMI would track the team relationship for the purpose of paying applicable overrides. The person who directly produces revenue should always receive the greatest share of the available commission. Team overrides would reward continuing mentorship and leadership—not merely the historical act of recruiting someone. The details of this model are still being developed. Foundational affiliates will have an unusual opportunity to contribute practical experience and help BMI determine what is fair, effective, and scalable. BMI will nevertheless retain ownership and control of the program and the flexibility to refine its rules, processes, and compensation structure as the model develops. This opportunity does not include equity in BMI, permanent control of the program, exclusivity, or guaranteed rights over a market or territory. Who may be well suited to this A conventional sales résumé is not required. We are more interested in evidence that you naturally influence people and move them toward worthwhile opportunities. You may be someone who:
• Has professional experience in sales, business development, fundraising, recruiting, networking, or entrepreneurship.
• Has always been a natural promoter, even without considering yourself a salesperson.
• Regularly connects people with businesses, products, services, or opportunities you believe in.
• Develops trust easily and enjoys meeting and understanding people.
• Is persuasive without being manipulative or excessively aggressive.
• Has credibility and extensive relationships within a particular industry or community.
• Wants to build a supplementary income stream that could potentially grow into replacement income.
• Is prepared to prove a sales method personally before recruiting or coaching others.
• Sees an early-stage program as an opportunity to experiment, learn, and help build something valuable. You do not need previous experience with CRM systems, software implementation, or technology consulting. BMI can provide structured questions, qualification tools, presentation materials, training, and access to internal expertise. You will, however, need the curiosity and aptitude to learn. As your knowledge grows, you should become increasingly confident, effective, and self-sufficient. The personal qualities that matter BMI places an especially high value on:
• Honesty and integrity.
• Resourcefulness and initiative.
• Resilience in the face of rejection and inconsistent results.
• Sound judgment and realistic expectation-setting.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Professionalism and personal credibility.
• Responsiveness and reliable follow-through.
• Humility about what you do not yet know.
• The ability to accept feedback and improve a process.
• Enough intelligence and business acumen to understand problems, ask useful questions, and recognize opportunities without unnecessarily overcomplicating them. Intelligence is an asset, but this is not primarily an analytical or technical problem-solving role. Natural influence, practical judgment, resilience, and consistent action may matter more than exceptional intellectual ability. The right person knows when thoughtful analysis is useful and when it is time to stop overthinking and take the next reasonable step. Honesty is non-negotiable BMI would rather work with someone who needs to improve their persistence or follow-up than someone who generates sales by exaggerating, misrepresenting, or overpromising. You must be comfortable telling a prospective client: “I don’t know the answer, and I don’t want to speculate. Let me confirm that with the appropriate person at BMI.” Affiliates must never make unconfirmed promises about capabilities, results, pricing, or timelines. Your responsibility is to understand the prospect, represent BMI accurately, qualify the opportunity, and advance it to the next appropriate stage. BMI’s technical and operational teams will determine what can be delivered and under what conditions. Our objective is to establish credible expectations that BMI can meet—and, whenever possible, exceed. Independence and flexibility This is an independent affiliate opportunity rather than an employment position. You determine how much time and effort you invest. BMI does not guarantee results or income, and you are not obligated to work predetermined hours. Correspondingly, BMI may work with multiple foundational affiliates, each of whom may develop independently and potentially build a separate team. This opportunity is best suited to someone who understands that freedom and results are connected: the level of income and influence available will depend substantially on how effectively they choose to pursue the opportunity. Compensation Compensation will be entirely performance-based and tied to qualifying revenue generated for BMI. The initial commission structure and the longer-term treatment of team overrides will be discussed with suitable candidates and refined as the program is tested. No salary or guaranteed compensation is available. The larger vision BMI ultimately intends to create an affiliate program flexible enough to accommodate several types of participants:
• Active sellers who pursue substantial or replacement income.
• Well-connected industry professionals who primarily make introductions.
• People seeking occasional supplementary income.
• Influencers or content creators who generate attributed revenue through an audience or affiliate links.
• Affiliate leaders who build, mentor, and support their own teams. The foundational affiliate described here is primarily an active seller-builder: someone prepared to roll up their sleeves, generate revenue personally, discover what works, and eventually turn that experience into a system that others can follow. Requirements Requirements
• A reliable desktop or laptop computer capable of supporting video meetings, presentations, and BMI’s cloud-based systems.
• Reliable high-speed internet of at least 300 Mbps, with a strong Wi-Fi connection or, preferably, wired Ethernet.
• A webcam, microphone, and quality noise-cancelling headset.
• A quiet, tidy, private workspace with minimal distractions, appropriate lighting, and a professional video background.
• Clear spoken and written English and the ability to communicate professionally with North American business clients.
• Confidence conducting online meetings, asking structured discovery questions, and presenting information over video.
• Honesty, sound judgment, resourcefulness, resilience, initiative, and dependable follow-through.
• The ability to work independently, organize personal sales activity, and remain responsive to prospects and BMI team members.
• Willingness to learn BMI’s services, use its approved sales and collaboration systems, follow established processes, and protect confidential client information.
• Availability to schedule prospect meetings and collaborate with BMI during mutually agreed North American business hours when necessary.
• Comfort with a fully commission-based independent opportunity in which compensation is earned from qualifying revenue rather than leads, appointments, hours worked, or activity alone. Previous experience in sales, business development, consulting, CRM systems, or software implementation is an asset but is not required. Natural influence, relationship-building ability, integrity, and willingness to learn are more important than prior technical knowledge. Benefits Benefits of the Opportunity
• Freedom to determine when, where, and how much you work.
• The flexibility to begin alongside other professional or personal commitments and develop the opportunity at your own pace.
• The opportunity to participate in the early development of BMI’s affiliate program, with direct access to management and meaningful input into its sales methods, tools, resources, and operating model.
• The opportunity to develop your own approach to generating and converting business while drawing upon BMI’s established services, expertise, technology, marketing, administration, and fulfilment capabilities.
• An expanding inventory of products and services to represent without having to create your own offering or build an entire business infrastructure from scratch.
• Training, sales tools, educational resources, and access to BMI specialists to help you become increasingly knowledgeable, effective, and self-sufficient.
• Performance-based earning potential tied directly to the qualifying revenue you generate.
• The potential to build and mentor your own affiliate team and qualify for additional team-based compensation as the program develops.
• An opportunity to turn natural influence, professional relationships, industry credibility, or sales ability into supplementary—and potentially substantial—income.
• The satisfaction of helping build a scalable program from its earliest stages while retaining the independence to determine how extensively you participate. This opportunity may be especially attractive to someone who wants the independence of developing their own book of business while benefiting from BMI’s established services, internal expertise, technology, and operational support.
