A wood-burning oven and hearth anchor the kitchen, producing crispy pizzas and expertly roasted and lightly smoked meats and seafood. Vegetable-forward dishes, family-style dining, and a carefully curated wine program balancing Old World selections with fresh, modern wines complete the experience.

We’re looking for a Server who is excited to attend to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest experience This position will also be required to have extensive knowledge of our exciting menu offerings.

Your Role

The Server is primarily responsible for:

  • Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents.
  • Ensure knowledge of the menu and all products.
  • Ensure that floor stations are stocked and tidy at all times.
  • Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues.
  • Possesses the ability to sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling;
  • Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Collects payment for drinks served and balances all receipts;
  • Prepares inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies;
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations;
  • Adhere to hotel grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.

Your Superpowers

  • Work varying shifts (morning, afternoon, evening, some overnights, weekends and holidays);
  • Work under variable temperatures and noise levels;
  • Visually verify and interpret written documents;
  • Move at a speed that is required to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog);
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects);
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 1+ years of serving experience in a high-volume breakfast or diner environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage time effectively;
  • Punctual and dependable—early morning readiness is critical;
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and verbal communication skills;
  • Friendly, service-driven disposition;
  • Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed.
