Matrix HR is hiring Journeyperson Electricians and Apprentice Electricians for ongoing commercial and industrial projects across Western and Eastern Canada.
Opportunities are available for electricians seeking local assignments, travel-based project work, or ongoing work in their region. Project schedules, shifts, travel requirements, and accommodation arrangements vary by location and client requirements.

Responsibilities may vary by project and can include:
- Completing commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics
- Installing conduit, cable tray, wiring, lighting systems, and electrical equipment
- Supporting renovations, upgrades, and new construction projects
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
- Working safely in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participating in toolbox meetings and following site-specific procedures
- Working effectively with supervisors, project teams, and other trades
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician certification or registered apprenticeship
- Relevant commercial, industrial, or construction electrical experience
- Proof of certification, apprenticeship registration, and applicable work experience
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable attendance and the ability to commit to the full project schedule
- Willingness to work night shifts when required
- Willingness to travel for applicable assignments
- Ability to meet project-specific safety, training, and site-access requirements
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada
- Additional tickets, certifications, and site requirements may vary by project.
