Evergreen School Division believes that a strong community plays a crucial role in creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment for our students.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team.
As a School Volunteer, you will support various school activities and programs, helping to enhance the educational experience for our students. Whether you are interested in assisting in the classroom, or extracurricular activities, we have a variety of opportunities to get involved.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
- Breakfast program - assist with the preparation and distribution of breakfast and snacks to students.
- One-on-One or Small Groups - provide individual or small group support to students, helping with their academic or personal development.
- PAC (Parent Advisory Council) - support PAC activities and events, and collaborate with parents and staff.
- Field Trips - assist with supervision ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for students.
- School Events - assist with various school events.
As a Volunteer of Evergreen School Division, you will be required to provide the following required documents:
- Clear Child Abuse Registry Check
- Clear Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Accessibility Customer Service Online Training
- Respect in School Online Training
- Respect in Sport Online Training (coaches only)
- Volunteer Orientation (school specific)
- Volunteer Agreement
- Disclosure of Information
- Pledge of Confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with children and contributing to the school environment.
- Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, students and parents.
- Reliable and committed.
