Position Summary:
Covenant is seeking a Site Administrator (General Manager) who leads with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to service. This role is ideal for a seasoned operational leader who has built their career in hospitality, service, operations, or people‑centered environments and is motivated by making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Site Administrator (General Manager) is accountable for the overall culture, experience, and performance of the site. You will champion a welcoming, respectful, and resident‑centered environment while ensuring strong operations, engaged teams, and high standards of care and service.
We welcome applications from leaders with experience in either healthcare, hospitality, or other service-oriented industries. Healthcare experience is an asset but not required. We are seeking individuals with proven expertise in operations, customer service, team leadership, and culture-building who are excited to apply those skills in a resident-centered care environment.
The Site Administrator (General Manager) will:

Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s mission, vision, and values
Engage and mobilize teams to fulfill Covenant’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives
Role Overview
The Site Administrator (General Manager) will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring the organization meets its financial and operational goals. This leadership role requires strong decision-making skills, business acumen, and the ability to inspire teams.
Key Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Oversee and manage day-to-day business operations Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals Lead, mentor, and evaluate department managers and staff Monitor financial performance, budgets, and forecasts Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and efficiency Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations Deliver Exceptional Resident Experience Ensure residents’ comfort, safety, dignity, and quality of life are at the heart of all decisions Partner closely with clinical leaders to support high standards of care and service Engage residents and families in creating a positive living experience Run Strong Operations Oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence Manage the site’s operational budget and resources responsibly Use data, systems, and feedback to support informed decision‑making Ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations (with organizational support and guidance)
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Healthcare or a related field An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered Proven experience in a senior management or General Manager role Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Excellent financial management and analytical abilities Ability to make sound strategic decisions under pressure Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment Knowledge of provincial continuing care legislation and standards Experience with healthcare information systems Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively Compassionate, professional, and resident‑focused
