Teach English and guidance courses at Father Leo J. Austin CSS as a 1.0 FTE secondary Long-Term Occasional teacher. Certification and subject qualifications are required.
This temporary teaching assignment includes ENG2D, GUD10, and ENG2P. The position requires Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications and certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers. The effective date is November 6, 2026, subject to the earlier return of the classroom teacher. Compensation follows salary-grid placement under the applicable collective agreement and is prorated based on FTE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ENG2D, GUD10, and ENG2P courses
- Provide secondary English instruction
- Deliver guidance and career education
- Fulfill the temporary classroom teaching assignment
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing from Ontario College of Teachers
- Intermediate/Senior Basic Qualifications
- Subject Qualifications for listed courses
- Availability for a 1.0 FTE assignment
