Nice to Have Skills & Experience Power BI for reporting Job Description Insight Global is looking for a BIM Planner for an enterprise retail company based in Mississauga. This role is on site 5 days per week in Mississauga. The BIM Planner supports the Format Development team by maintaining digital store assets and ensuring the accuracy of floor plans and Revit models across the network. This role is responsible for managing store generated requests (FixIt), preserving data integrity within the Digital Store Maps (DSM) ecosystem, and collaborating closely with cross-functional partners to enable consistent and reliable information for store operations and merchandising. This role ensures the retail company maintains accurate and trusted store data, directly supporting operational efficiency, digital innovation, and the success of partner teams across the business. Key Responsibilities • Manage FIX IT Requests: Receive, assess, and process store submitted FixIt tickets to update floor plans, ensuring changes are reflected accurately and promptly. • Maintain Floor Plan Integrity: Oversee the ongoing accuracy of floor plans, DSM, and associated datasets. • Revit Model Upkeep: Update and maintain store Revit models following BIM standards and guiding principles. • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize Excel and SQL to create basic reports and data extracts as needed. Power BI experience is considered an asset. • Harvesting & Data Extraction: Collect and process Revit data through harvesting procedures to support analytics. • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize Excel and SQL to create basic reports and data extracts as needed. Power BI experience is considered an asset. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Space Excellence, Merchandising Operations, OMNI and other stakeholders to support project initiatives. • Quality Assurance: Perform routine checks to validate model accuracy and adherence to BIM governance standards. • Documentation & Process Support: Contribute to documentation, workflows, and best practices related to BIM processes, FIX IT workflows, and store data governance.
