As a Veterinary Technician or Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in the health and well-being of animals. Collaborate closely with veterinarians, manage comprehensive patient care, and educate pet owners on effective at-home management. The position offers various shifts, including night hours for those who thrive in a quieter environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assistance and monitor anesthesia during procedures
- Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostics
- Communicate and educate clients on medications and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient medical files and logs
- Assist with various scheduled appointments and walk-in services
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program
- Knowledge of anesthesia, pharmacology, and patient care
- Strong technical skills and a compassionate care approach
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and schedules
