Teach English and Computer Science virtually for five hours weekly at Nantyr Shores S.S. under Principal Brian MacIsaac's direction.
The Simcoe County District School Board is seeking a teacher for home instruction. The assignment includes effective instruction, training, evaluation, lesson planning, and reporting pupil progress. You will support individualized learning while following required safety, administrative, and communication responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual instruction in English and Computer Science
- Prepare required teaching plans and course outlines
- Evaluate pupil progress and report it when requested
- Ensure reasonable safety procedures in assigned activities
- Participate in meetings with pupils' parents or guardians
Requirements:
- Ability to provide effective instruction and pupil evaluation
- Capacity to complete required teaching plans and outlines
- Willingness to complete mandatory Board training modules
- Permission to contact two professional references
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check before employment begins
Support virtual home instruction through English, Computer Science, planning, evaluation, and communication with Nantyr Shores S.S. pupils.
