Join TELUS as a Monitoring Station Specialist I, where you will play a key role in ensuring customer security. Responsible for responding to various alarm signals, your efforts directly impact safety.
In this primarily in-office position, you'll monitor alarms and communicate with customers and emergency responders. This role requires a blend of excellent communication skills and quick thinking during emergencies, providing vital support for thousands of customers. Your problem-solving skills will be put to great use in real-time scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor alarm signals for diverse emergencies
- Dispatch assistance based on alarm alerts promptly
- Provide timely responses to client inquiries
- Uphold high standards in customer interactions
- Navigate high-stress situations with professionalism
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent mandatory
- Previous experience in monitoring station preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Good judgment under time constraints crucial
