Work as a Material Handler with Ryder in a Fly In Fly Out Fort Hills camp assignment, using warehouse and forklift skills.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the Material Handler I performs warehouse functions at a remote camp location. Duties may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. The permanent full-time schedule runs seven days on and seven days off, with twelve-hour shifts. Training takes place in Edmonton before the Fort Hills assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack products accurately for shipment
- Audit, stage, and induct totes during production
- Load and unload trucks at the warehouse
- Complete picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Support automated packing system maintenance during production
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of related warehouse experience preferred
- Powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid forklift operator license preferred
- Ability to lift or push and pull 35 pounds
