Drive AI excellence at NVIDIA as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering focusing on reinforcement learning ecosystems. Oversee engineering strategies and frameworks to enhance AI capabilities across distributed systems.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will be instrumental in shaping NVIDIA's RL post-training frameworks and strategy. This position demands strong expertise in AI frameworks, distributed systems, and multi-team execution plans. Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, including product management, research, DevRel, and senior engineers, to ensure impactful integrations that elevate user value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own RL frameworks strategy and investment decisions
- Lead teams to develop and enhance AI systems
- Benchmark and set criteria for success in frameworks
- Foster partnerships with open-source communities
- Ensure measurable execution plans are followed
Requirements:
- MS or PhD in relevant fields or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in software engineering, with 4+ in management
- Strong background in distributed AI systems
- Proven skills in driving engineering initiatives across teams
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams and customers
