Represent injured plaintiffs as a Personal Injury Lawyer in Ottawa, managing claims, negotiations, and advocacy through a flexible hybrid arrangement.
An established Ottawa firm is seeking a Personal Injury Associate Lawyer for full-time permanent employment. You will represent clients through personal injury claims, take ownership of files, and work directly with them. The practice supports continued development in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance throughout claims
- Prepare pleadings, legal correspondence, and required materials
- Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Prepare for discoveries, mediations, and pre-trial conferences
- Participate in trials and collaborate on file progress
Requirements:
- Good-standing membership with the Law Society of Ontario
- Personal injury file management experience, preferably plaintiff representation
- Strong legal research and written drafting abilities
- Negotiation, advocacy, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize deadlines independently
