Coordinate inbound and outbound loads as a Logistics Associate with Ryder in London, Ontario, using advanced computer and communication skills.
This full-time permanent Logistics Associate position coordinates facility freight activity and maintains accurate receiving and shipping reporting. The role supports cross-dock operations for SPS and other destinations while connecting departments. Success requires advanced computer literacy, strong interpersonal communication, safety awareness, and schedule flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate cross-dock freight flow to SPS and other destinations
- Process dunnage returns to suppliers accurately
- Schedule door assignments and warehouse labour planning communications
- Supervise material handlers, shunt drivers, and clerks
- Ensure all facility safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Advanced computer literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Availability for overtime and statutory holidays
- Availability for at least two Saturdays monthly
- Ability to work shifts with minimal supervision
