Nicola-Similkameen School District is hiring for a 0.40 FTE assignment beginning immediately through December 18, 2026. Teaching responsibilities include French 8 to 12, Graphic Production 11, International Languages, Marketing, and Psychology 11. This assignment requires adapting learning materials, resources, assessments, and outcomes, with attention to diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction across French and listed secondary courses
- Work with Brightspace in distributed learning
- Adapt resources and outcomes for student needs
- Support students' social-emotional learning needs
- Travel throughout the region when required
Requirements:
- Valid BC Teaching Certificate
- Familiarity with BC Curriculum
- Teaching category five or higher
- Experience working with grade-level students
- Familiarity with Standards for K-12 Distributed Learning
Use distributed learning, curriculum adaptation, and Brightspace skills to teach diverse students in this multidisciplinary assignment.
