The District of Kenora Home for the Aged is looking for a passionate Recreation and Therapy Lead to join our team. You will be pivotal in creating and evaluating recreation and therapeutic programs aimed at fostering physical, emotional, and social well-being. Collaborate with residents, families, and staff to ensure vibrant and meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily activities of the Recreation Team
- Develop and evaluate customized recreation programs
- Facilitate group and individual fitness and leisure activities
- Monitor resident engagement and document outcomes
- Collaborate with care teams, families, and community organizations
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in related fields
- Experience with seniors in long-term care preferred
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to person-centered care and resident well-being
Utilize your leadership and creativity to significantly improve the lives of residents at Princess Court.
