Lead innovative STEAM programming at Ampere's Bathurst Makerspace. This engaging role involves supervising educators and coordinating enriching learning activities for diverse community members.
As the Makerspace Lead, you'll report to the New Brunswick Program Manager, where your main focus is inspiring creativity in learners of all ages. Collaborate with the STEAM Lead Educator and team to develop and deliver hands-on experiences that promote digital literacy. You'll foster partnerships with local communities, making a tangible impact through education and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise STEAM Lead Educator and team
- Coordinate in-person and virtual programming activities
- Maintain and organize makerspace systems and equipment
- Capture event data and document learning experiences
- Engage with community initiatives and partnerships
Requirements:
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Experience in educational program development
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and diversity
